ANNANDALE-on-HUDSON, N.Y. – Russell Sage College wrapped up the 2023 portion of its schedule with this afternoon's 69-49 non-conference loss at Bard.
Junior guard Noah Girard (Glens Falls, NY/Glens Falls) was the lone Gator to score in twin figures, registering 15 points in the Saturday matinee. Freshman center Khalel Noteman (Brooklyn, NY/Canarsie), the reigning Empire 8 Conference Rookie of the Week, led all participants with seven rebounds, while freshman guard Deavion Springsteen (Albany, NY/Albany) contributed seven points, five assists and four rebounds.
Bard, now winners of six-in-a-row, had four players record double figures in the victory. Senior forward Rowan Heinze topped the Raptors (6-1), which outscored RSC 43-25 in the second period, with 19 points on 8-of-11 shooting and six rebounds.
RSC (5-4) returns to the court on Tuesday, January 2 vs. Penn College of Technology. Tip-off is set for 3:00 PM.
