ALBANY, N.Y. – Russell Sage College senior attacker Grace Hines (Schenectady, NY/Guilderland) was announced as the Empire 8 Conference Women's Lacrosse Payer of the Week for the period ending Sunday, March 3.

She opened her spring by tallying seven goals and an assist in Sunday's home opener vs, Marywood.  In the process, Hines became just the second Gator to score 100 career goals.

RSC (0-2) plays at SUNY Poly tomorrow evening.

Gator Bites: The spring marks the first with Matt Johnson at the helm of the Gators…Ten players, including eight starters, return this season… Senior attacker Grace Hines (Schenectady, NY/Guilderland) began the season ranked second in school records in both points and goals…She became just the second Gator to score 100 career goals vs. Marywood on March 3…Hines was announced as the E8 Conference Player of the Week honors the next day for her seven goal, one assist performance…Senior attacker Alexandra Queeney (Johnstown, NY/Johnstown) is on pace to break the program record for career draw controls early during the campaign…She started the spring just 23 away from the RSC standard.
