Sage falls to FSC, 18-8 in Skyline Play

Farmingdale, NY---The Sage Colleges women's lacrosse team travelled to Farmingdale State College on Saturday for a Skyline Conference contest. The host Rams posted an 18-8 win to improve to 15-1 overall and 6-0 in the league. Sage's two-game win streak is snapped and the Gators drop to 3-7 overall and 2-4 in the league.

FSC led 11-4 at the break as Sage's sophomores Kimberlee Carr (Colonie, NY/Colonie Central) added all four goals for the Gators in the first half. By game's end, she had five goals and an assist. On the season, she has 40 goals and an assists for 41 points. Her 40 goals ranks No. 2 all-time in single-season goals.

Sage newcomer, graduate student Shirah Fudin (Delmar, NY/Bethlehem) added two goals, while sophomore Mallory Hansen (Johnstown, NY/Johnstown) tallied a goal for the Gators.

For the Gators, rookie goalie Jackie St. Pierre (Averill Park, NY/Averill Park) made 15 saves on the year an now has a 3-7 record in goal with 119 saves, which ranks No. 2 in single-season saves.

Sage returns to action on April 16 travelling to Mt. St. Mary College for a 6 p.m. Skyline Conference game with the Knights.
