OSWEGO, N.Y. – Russell Sage College golf placed fourth in the Oswego State Spring Invitational this past weekend with a team score of 656 (+88).
Three Gators placed within the top 20 on the weekend. Senior Austin Carpenter (Peru, NY/Peru) placed 8th, carding a weekend score of 159 (+17).
Junior Shane Kammerman (Cortlandt Manor, NY/Walter Panas) returned to the clubhouse at +19, good for 12th, and junior Elijah Waterhouse (Lake Luzerne, NY/Lake Luzerne) finished in 18th place, shooting 167 on the weekend.
RSC completes its season with ten top five finishes as a team.
Gator Bites: RSC finished fourth out of seventh competing institutions at the Empire 8 Conference Championships...Senior Austin Carpenter (Peru, NY/Peru) finished sixth out of 32 golfers to earn second-team All-E8 honors...Freshman Ryan Arp (Greenville, NY/Greenville CAD) secured third-team accolades with his 14th place effort.
