Mason tapped as Skyline Women's Soccer Performer of the Week; Adds ECAC Honors as well!

New York, NY – Sage's women's soccer team member, sophomore forward Savannah Mason (Wynantskill, NY/Averill Park) was named the Skyline Conference Women's Soccer Player of the Week for her efforts in leading the Gators last week. She was also named the Eastern College Athletic Conference Corvais Division III Metro Women's Player of the Week as well, sweeping the weekly honors.

Sage stands at 5-3-2 overall and 2-1 in the league on the season under rookie head coach Andrew Gamarra.

Mason single-handedly propelled the Gators to the win with her four unanswered goals in the team's 4-3 win over SUNY-Old Westbury on October 4. By game's end, Mason had eight points and another game-winning goal, elevating her team-leading total to 10 goals and 21 points. She also has four game-winning goals as well on the 2014 campaign and lead the team in that category as well.

Sage returns to action on Wednesday, October 8 hosting Purchase College in a 7 p.m. Skyline Conference match which takes place at Lansingburgh High School.
