SPRINGFIELD, Mass.  – Russell Sage College began its indoor season with three school records and ten top-eight finishes at Saturday's Springfield College Season Opener.

Sophomore Charisma Losee (Troy, NY/Lansingburgh) broke the program's 1,000m standard with a time of 3:46.28.  The clocking, more than 90 seconds better than the previous record, was good for second place on the day.

Junior Elizabeth Ingellis (Kingston, NY/Kingston) lowered her RSC record in the 3,000m run with a second-place time of 11:04.34.  Senior Mackenzie Feeney (Saugerties, NY/Saugerties) crossed the line fifth with a time of 11:33.03.

Senior Jasmine Zollman (Delmar, NY/Bethlehem Central) reached 4.20m in the long jump for a sixth-place performance, while freshman Mercedez Cecelia-Storey (Pine Hill, NY/Onteora) took seventh in the weight throw with a 9.92m toss.

Senior Skylar Grybos (Amsterdam, NY/Amsterdam) and sophomore Hannah Maxson (Johnstown, NY/Johnstown) completed the 600m seventh and eighth with times of 2:08.99, and 2:10.37 respectively.

On the men's side, sophomore Chris Pellegrini (Loudonville, NY/Colonie Central) set the program's record in the 1,000m run with a time of 2:52.97.  The effort had him finish tenth out of 14 runners.

Junior David Adadjo (Nassau, NY/Columbia) finished fifth in the 200m dash with a time of 23.36.  He completed 60m in 7.34, just shy of equaling his program record of 7.33, set at the 2021 edition of the Springfield College Opener.

The duo along with sophomore Dominic Harkness (Morrisonville, NY/Saranac) and junior Isaac Langer (Hudson, NY/Taconic Hills) finished fifth in the 4x400m relay with a time of 3:52.06.

RSC competes next on Saturday, January 20 at Middlebury.
