Troy, NY-- The Sage Colleges' women's lacrosse team hosted the Panthers of SUNY-Old Westbury on Friday night at Renwyck Field. Sage honored their 2015 seniors prior to the Skyline Conference match, graduate student Shirah Fudin (Delmar, NY/Bethlehem Central) and senior Shannon Rossi (Niskayuna, NY/Colonie).

Old Westbury recorded the 20-8 win to improve to 5-9 overall and 3-4 in the Skyline, while Sage drops to 2-11 overall and 2-5 in the Skyline.

Sage scored the first goal of the night as sophomore Monica Koralus (Verbank, NY/Millbrook) found the net. OW answered right back as sophomore Sara Bey (Merrick, NY/Sanford H. Calhoun) scored at 24:51. The game was tied again at 2-2 before OW's rookie Halle Johnson (Malverne, NY/Malverne) scored on a feed at 21:25 on a feed from rookie Danielle Weir (North Massapequa, NY/St. Dominic).

OW took a 10-4 lead at the break and was paced by the play of junior Courtney Gallagher (Rockaway, NY/Channel View School for Research) as she poured in seven goals with an assist. Weir tallied three goals with four assists for the Panthers.

Fudin tallied three goals and an assist, while Koralus netted four goals in the action for Sage. Fudin finishes the season as the Gators' leading scorer with 55 points on 48 goals with seven assists. Koralus added 50 points on the season on 24 goals with a school-record 16 assists this year. Koralus is now No. 2 in career points with 70 on 49 goals with 21 assists, while Fudin wraps her career with 69 career points, which is No. 3. Fudin stamds No. 2 all-time in career goals (60), while Koralus is No. 3 in career goals (49).

Sage's sophomore Jackie St. Pierre (Averill Park, NY/Averill Park) made a personal-best 20 saves in the action with 18 goals allowed as she shared the time in net with sophomore Chelsea Hunt (Verplanck, NY/Hendrick Hudson). Hunt had 2 saves with 2 goals allowed in the contest.

Old Westbury's freshman goalie Ashley Gugliuzzo (Oakdale, NY/Connetquot) made five saves in earning the win.
