As a newcomer with the Gators in 2013 season, Shannon Rossi moved right in the Sage starting lineup on the midfield. She had 12 ground ball pickups with seven caused turnovers to pace the team. Last year, she made nine starts in 11 appearances. Rossi added two goals as well with 16 ground ball pickups and seven caused turnovers.

Scholastically she earned varsity letters in both basketball and lacrosse at Colonie Central High School. She has considerable playing experience in the sport and should once again be a contributor for the Gators in 2014.

The daughter of Mark and Mary Ann Rossi, she is majoring in interior design at Sage. She is a Dean’s List student and was named to the 2013 Skyline Conference Scholar-Athlete Team as a rookie and was a repeat honoree in 2014. She was also named to the 2014 Sage Scholar-Athlete Team.
