
SAGE GOLFERS WRAP ACTION AT 22nd ANNUAL OSWEGO FALL INVITATIONAL
Oswego, NY—The Sage Colleges' men's golf team wrapped up play on Sunday at the two-day 22nd Annual Oswego State Fall Invitational, held at Oswego Country Club. Sage finished in ninth place with a two-day score 672 (340-332). Penn State-Behrend won the team crown with a 608 (305-303) and had the medalist as Alex Pol shot a 147 (75-72).
For the Gators , junior Blake Pritchard (Malone, NY/Franklin Academy) finished tied for 28th after shooting a 162 (80-82). Senior Tyler Schnaible (Ballston Lake, NY/Shenendehowa) shot 163 and tied for 30th after shooting back to back rounds of 81-82.
Sophomore golfer Stuart Phair (Canberra, Australia/Trinity Christian School) had a big finish on Sunday and took home 42nd after he carded a 79 on Sunday after he added a 91 on Saturday and finished with a 170.
Rookie Connor Affinito (Queensbury, NY/Queensbury) added a 52nd place with a 177 (88-89).
Senior Jared Almy (Howes Cave, NY/Cobleskill-Richmondville) finished in 55th place and had a two-day score of 192 (97-95).
Sage returns to play on October 5-6 competing at the 2019 Empire 8 Fall Championship at Seven Oaks Golf Course in Hamilton, NY.
