RSC Competes at RPI Harvest Classic

SARATOGA SPRINGS, N.Y. –  Russell Sage College junior Elizabeth Ingellis (Kingston, NY/Kingston) finished ninth out of 71 runners at Saturday's RPI Harvest Classic 6k. Ingellis, who was selected the E8 Conference Runner of the Week on September 5, completed the Pitney Meadow Community Farm course in 22:29.5 to secure the top-ten showing.

Senior Mackenzie Feeney (Saugerties, NY/Saugerties) took 20th with a time of 23:26.8.

Rounding out the RSC finishers were: sophomore Charisma Losee (Troy, NY/Lansingburgh) (23:54.2 - 53rd), sophomore Hannah Maxson (Johnstown, NY/Johnstown) (28:26.2 - 58th), and sophomore Crystal Ivery (Cairo, NY/Cairo-Durham) (29:52.9 - 64th)

The Gators finished fifth out of seven teams at the inaugural event.

On the men's side, sophomore Robert Cusato (Schenectady, NY/Guilderland) was the top RSC finisher in the 8k with a clocking of 32:26.3.

Sophomore Christopher Pellegrini (Loudonville, NY/Colonie Central) and junior Isaac Langer (Hudson, NY/Taconic Hills) came in shortly thereafter, with times of 33:27.5 and 37:44.5.

The efforts were good for 102nd, 104th and 109th respectively.

RSC is slated to compete next on Saturday, September 23 at the Bard Invitational.
