Oneonta, NY— Russell Sage College's women's cross country team competed on Saturday at Oneonta State Airfield Invitational. RSC's women's team finished in second place, while sophomore Emma Cronin (Greenwich, NY/Greenwich Central) just missed finishing as the 5k course champion as she was second in a time of 19:27.0.
Sophomore Mackenzie Feeney (Saugerties, NY/Saugerties) was next in third place in 20:15.1, while newcomer Elizabeth Ingellis (Kingston,NY/Kingston) was fourth in 20:19.9.
Rookie Crystal Ivery (Cairo, NY/Cairo-Durham) picked up 19 place in 23:13.0, while junior Evelyn Gile (Ballston Lake, NY/Shenendehowa) finished in 20th in 23:14.4. Senior Kristin McAlonen (Burnt Hills, NY/Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake) had a time of 23:47.9 and was 21st. Junior Morgan Feisthamel (Glenfield, NY/South Lewis) was 28th in 31:02.5.
Rookie Morgan Rossignol (Lexington, NY/Hunter Tannersville) was 40th in 32:04.4 and senior Katherine Florian (Bronx, NY/Academy of Mount Saint Ursula) was 44th in 32:59.0. Sophomore Heather Scutt (Ancramdale, NY/Taconic Hills) finished in 45th place in 39:58.9.
