ALBANY, N.Y. – Russell Sage College junior Elizabeth Ingellis (Kingston, N.Y./Kingston) was selected the Empire 8 Conference Women's Indoor Track Athlete of the Week for the period ending Sunday, January 28.
She lowered her program record in the 5,000m run by more than 40 seconds at Saturday's Utica Blue and Orange Invitational and Multi. The 18:21.97 clocking also qualified Ingellis, who also holds the RSC 3,000m run standard, for the Regional Championships.
The Gators return to Utica on Saturday for the Fast Trax Invitational.
Gator Bites: RSC, building toward the Empire 8 Conference Championships, to be held Feb. 23-24 at Houghton University, has set six program records thus far.
