Ingellis Sets School Record at Utica Blue & Orange Invitational Saturday

UTICA, N.Y. – Russell Sage College had 11 top 20 finishes and a new school record at Saturday's Utica Blue & Orange Invitational.

Junior Elizabeth Ingellis (Kingston, NY/Kingston) lowered her own 5000M run record with a time of 18:21.97. This time also qualified Ingellis for the regional championships.

Senior Mackenzie Feeney (Saugerties, NY/Saugerties) placed seventh in the 800M run, while sophomore Ashley Rabbitt (Glenville, NY/Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake) placed 12th in the weight throw and 17th in the shot put,

RSC had a pair finish in the top-15 in the long jump. Senior Jasmine Zollman (Delmar, NY/Bethlehem Central) and sophomore Hannah Maxson (Johnstown, NY/Johnstown) placed 12th and 14th respectively.

On the Men's side, junior David Adadjo (Nassau, NY/Columbia) slotted ninth in the 200m dash and 12th in the 60m dash. Freshman Kyle Coyne (Castleton, NY/Maple Hill) was 14th in the 60m hurdles and 15th in the Long Jump. 

Both the men's and women's 4x400 teams placed fourth in their respective races. 

Looking ahead, the Gators are back at Utica on Saturday for the Fast Trax Invitational.


Gator Bites: RSC, building toward the Empire 8 Conference Championships, to be held Feb. 23-24 at Houghton University, has set six program records thus far.
