ROCHESTER, N.Y. – Russell Sage College dropped Saturday's Empire 8 Conference match at Nazareth 7-2.
Junior Gwendolyn Eichen (Moriah Center, NY/Moriah Central) and sophomore Tirzah Spivey (Clifton Park, NY/Schenectady) were victorious in singles to earn the RSC points against the Golden Flyers (3-2/2-1 E8). Spivey won at number one singles: 6-4, 6-3, while Eichen took the number three singles match: 6-1, 7-6 (7-5).
The Gators (3-6/1-2 E8) are scheduled to host Saint John Fisher tomorrow at 1:00 pm.
