Queeney Becomes RSC Leader for Career Draw Controls in Home Win

ALBANY, N.Y. – Russell Sage College senior attacker Alexandra Queeney (Johnstown, NY/Johnstown) became the program leader for career draw controls in this afternoon's 12-6 home win vs. Castleton.  Queeney, now with 186 draw controls, became just the fourth Gator to surpass 100 career points in Tuesday's victory at SUNY Poly.

The Gators outscored the visitors 9-2 in the second half of the non-conference matinee.

Senior attacker Grace Hines (Schenectady, NY/Guilderland), the reigning Empire 8 Conference Player of the Week, registered seven goals. 

Junior midfielder Maddison Walter (Moreau, NY/South Glens Falls) added two goals and two assists, while Queeney contributed two goals, three assists and five draw controls.

Sophomore goalie Jaia Caron (Bellows Falls, VT/Bellows Falls Union) made six saves to earn the win (2-2) in goal.

Castleton (0-2) received two goals apiece from sophomore midfielder Megan Ward and freshman midfielder Gianna Geraci (Averill Park, N.Y./Averill Park).

RSC (2-2) is back in action on Tuesday at 4:00 pm vs. Manhattanville.
