Hines Surpasses 100 Career Goals in Home Opener

ALBANY, N.Y. – Senior attacker Grace Hines (Schenectady, NY/Guilderland) became just the second Russell Sage College women's lacrosse player to score 100 career goals in Saturday's 23-12 non-conference loss to visiting Marywood.

Making her season debut, she scored seven goals and had one assist in the RSC home opener.

Senior attacker Alexandra Queeney (Johnstown, NY/Johnstown) added two goals one assist, and five draw controls, while sophomore goalie Jaia Caron (Bellows Falls, VT/Bellows Falls Union) made seven saves.

Marywood (1-3) used a 7-1 run spanning 16:28 of the first and second periods to hold a 11-6 lead at the break. The Pacers regained momentum by netting six of the first seven goals of the third period.

Sophomore midfielder Kaitlyn Smith and junior attacker Kortney Harry each netted six goals for the victors.

RSC (0-2) plays next on Tuesday at 6:00 pm at SUNY Poly. The Gators return home on Saturday afternoon to host Castleton.
