ALBANY, N.Y. – Russell Sage College sophomore pitcher Leah Madore (Williamsville, VT/Brattleboro Union) was selected the Empire 8 Conference Pitcher of the Week for the period ending Sunday, April 7.
She allowed zero earned runs and struck out 16 across 10.1 innings of Sunday's doubleheader vs. Keuka. The Wolves hit just .189 off the sophomore righty.
RSC (4-12/1-1 E8) is scheduled to play next on Wednesday afternoon at Skidmore. The non-doubleheader is slated to begin at 3:00 PM.
