ALBANY, N.Y. – Russell Sage College began a stretch of five games in five days by dropping tonight's New England Volleyball Conference match to visiting Endicott 3-0 (25-15, 25-12, 25-23).
Freshman outside hitter Dylan Fox (Albany, NY/Colonie) and outside hitter Jarod Martel, a grad student, (Albany, NY/Colonie Central) led the Gators with six kills apiece.
Junior setter Jack McWilliam (Fishkill, NY/Arlington) distributed 21 assists, while libero Deshawn Fleary, a grad student, (Newark, NJ/Immaculate Conception Montclair) topped all participants with five digs.
Endicott (7-7/1-0 NEVC), which hit. 568 during the first two sets and .400 on the night, received multiple kills from eight different players.
Sophomore outside hitter Aidan Iacovelli paced the Gulls with 10 kills on .562 hitting, while senior setter Gavin Emenaker tallied 14 helpers, including the 1,000th of his career.
RSC (4-10 /0-2 NEVC) hosts Eastern Nazarene and MIT for a doubleheader tomorrow afternoon. The action is slated to commence at noon.
