BOSTON – Russell Sage College turned in multiple noteworthy performances while competing on Friday and Saturday at the Boston University David Hemery Valentine Invitational. Both teams were able to break school records in the highly competitive meet that featured top Division I, II and III programs.
On the men's side, freshman David Adadjo (Nassau, NY/Columbia) clocked in at 22.56in the 200m to break his own school mark, while adding a time of 50.13 bettering his school record in the 400m with his efforts.
Junior John Coddington (Amsterdam, NY/Broadalbin-Perth) finished 17th in the shot put with a school mark of 14.21 meters, bettering his own record of 14.07 meters set two weeks ago. He also picked up 15th place in the weight toss with a toss of 15.48 meters, also a program record.
Looking ahead, RSC competes next on Friday at the Nazareth Invitational. The meet is set to begin at 3:30 pm.
