Ian Alejandro, a transfer from Fulton Montgomery Community College, competed for the Gators in both cross country and track and field.
He is coming off a strong showing this past fall competing on the cross country team. He posted a 61st place at the 2016 Skyline Conference Championships, after also a 74th place at the MSMC Knight Invitational with his time of 33:57. Earlierin the season, he was 40th at the Stephen Warde Invitational at SUNY-Cobleskill (36:48.83), while also posting a time of 25:08.1 at the opening meet of the season, the Short Course at SUNY-Polytechnic.
In high school, Alejandro was a three-sport athlete in cross country, wrestling and track. He was the captain of his cross country, and he finished third in the Class B Wrestling Sectionals.
