MORRISVILLE, N.Y. – Russell Sage College played to a scoreless draw at SUNY Morrisville tonight.
Senior goalkeeper Tyler Brennan (Albany, NY/Shaker) (Tie, 2-3-2) stopped all three SUNY Morrisville (3-5-2) shots put on target, while freshman defender/midfielder Hunter Hicks (Red Creek, NY/Red Creek Central) and freshman forward Peter Martillotta (Gasport, NY/Royalton Hartland) took a team-high two shots each.
Looking ahead, RSC (3-4-2/1-1-0 E8) hosts Elmira on Saturday at 4:00 PM.
Notes: The Gators, which have finished in the top half of the E8 Conference standings in three of the last four seasons, made their fourth appearance in the E8 Championship Tournament in 2022…RSC got off to its best-ever start in E8 play at 3-0-0, and established a program single-season record with five E8 victories during the debut campaign of head coach Amir Pasic.
