KEUKA PARK, N.Y. –  Russell Sage College outscored host Keuka 13-3 in the opening half of this afternoon's 17-7 Empire 8 Conference win.

Midfielder Shea Obado (Spotswood, NJ/Spotswood), a graduate student, registered five goals and two assists to help the Gators secure their first conference victory of the spring. 

Sophomore attacker Nate Kettle (Killbuck, NY/Salamanca) added three goals and six assists, while sophomore attacker Mame Diba (New York, NY/Haldane) tallied two goals and six helpers. The six assists are tied for second-most in a game by a Gator.

Sophomore goalkeeper Andrew Collora (West Babylon, NY/West Babylon) and Collin Dougherty (East Greenbush, NY/Columbia), a graduate student, (Win, 2-8) made a combined 11 saves, while sophomore midfielder Gamo Koulibaly (Aurora, CO/Rangeview) was victorious on 17-of-23 face-offs and scooped eight groundballs. 

Keuka (4-3/0-2 E8) received two goals apiece from three different players in the home setback. 

Looking ahead, RSC (4-8/1-2 E8) hosts Utica on Saturday afternoon. 

Gator Bites: The Gators returned 24 players to this year's edition…Attacker Bailey Martin (Syracuse, NY/Onondaga Central), a graduate student, and Kettle headline the group…Martin began the spring as the program career in points (139), goals (91), and assists (48)…Kettle, voted a co-captain as a sophomore, capped his rookie campaign with a second-team All-Empire 8 Conference honor…Junior defender Drew Rankin (Painted Post, NY/Corning Painted Post), junior midfielder Akili Richardson (Bronx, NY/Frederick Douglass Academy), Kettle, and senior midfielder Jake McElwee (Jackson, NJ/Jackson Liberty) were voted co-captains…Kettle was named the E8 Player of the Week for the period ending March 17…He tallied 11 points on seven goals and four assists in the 2-0 week.
