HERSHEY, P.A. – Russell Sage College Golf used a team score of 1,342 to place fourth overall in the Empire 8 Men's Golf conference tournament this past weekend.
Senior Austin Carpenter (Peru, NY/Peru) was the low scorer for the Gators, registering a final round 83 to finish the four-round tournament with a score of 323 (+39). Carpenter's score was good for 6th place among individuals.
Freshman Ryan Arp (Greenville, NY/Greenville CAD) posted a weekend score of +34, with a Saturday 90 and a Sunday 86.
Junior Elijah Waterhouse (Lake Luzerne, NY/Lake Luzerne) also finished at +34 for the weekend with scores of 92 and 84 on Saturday and Sunday respectively.
Looking ahead, the Gators hit the links next on Tuesday, April 23 at Elmira.
