ROME, N.Y. – Russell Sage College took home the team title at Monday's SUNY Poly Invitational, held at the Teugega Country Club.
The Gators shot a combined 320 to edge SUNY Canton, which featured both the medalist and the runner up, by one stroke.
Senior Austin Carpenter (Peru, NY/Peru), freshman Dylan Dzoik (Hopedale, MA/Hopedale), junior Shane Kammerman (Cortlandt Manor, NY/Walter Panas), and junior Elijah Waterhouse (Lake Luzerne, NY/Lake Luzerne) each carded an 80 (+10) to help RSC pick up the victory. The quartet finished tied for fifth in the 41 golfer field.
The Gators are back in action on Saturday and Sunday at the SUNY Oswego Invitational.
