Gators Defeat MSMC and SUNY Cobleskill

COBLESKILL, N.Y. – Russell Sage College defeated Mount Saint Mary College and host SUNY Cobleskill this afternoon. The Gators carded a 315, with SUNY Cobleskill and MSMC totaling 320 and 334 respectively.

Freshman Ryan Arp (Greenville, NY/Greenville CAD) earned medalist honors with a 75 to help RSC earn the team title. He was one of four Gators to finish in the top seven at the par 70, 6163-yard Cobleskill Golf & Country Club.

Junior Shane Kammerman (Cortlandt Manor, NY/Walter Panas) was fourth with a 79, junior Elijah Waterhouse (Lake Luzerne, NY/Lake Luzerne) tied for fifth with an 80, and senior Austin Carpenter (Peru, NY/Peru) shot an 81 to tie for seventh.  Sophomore Sam Shaw (Cicero, NY/Cicero North Syracuse) rounded out the victorious squad with a 105. 

Playing as indivuduals were freshman Dylan Dzoik (Hopedale, MA/Hopedale) and junior Alex Burns (Selden, NY/Newfield). They shot 87 and 102 respectively.

RSC is scheduled to tee off at the Elmira Fall Invitational on Tuesday.
