Rochester, NY – Russell Sage College's men's golf team member junior Shane Kammerman (Cortlandt Manor, NY/Walter Panas) was honored on Monday as the Empire 8 Men's Golfer of the Week. Kammerman led off the fall season taking home the medalist crown and helping RSC to the team title at the Keuka College Fall Invitational at Kanon Valley Country Club. He led the field with a round of 77 for the day.

A year ago, he earned Empire 8 Third Team acclaim as was also chosen as the Gator of the Year in his sport at RSC.

The Gators are back in action on September 17 travelling to compete at the SUNY-Cobleskill Invitational, with a 1:30 p.m. start at SUNY-Cobleskill C.C.
