ALBANY, N.Y. – Russell Sage College had six student-athletes named to the 2023 College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Basketball Teams.

Senior forward Jackson Brown (Latham, NY/Catholic Central) and junior guard Noah Girard (Glens Falls, NY/Glens Falls) represented the Men's team, while junior guard Olivia Huneau (Cohoes, NY/Cohoes), junior guard Gwen Eichen (Moriah, NY/Moriah Central), junior guard Angelina Schaefer (Latham, NY/Shaker), and junior guard Malena Gereau (Schroon Lake, NY/Schroon Lake Central) were selected from the women's team.

The2023 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Basketball Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
