KEUKA PARK, N.Y. – Russell Sage College had three players register double figures in Saturday's 78-56 Empire 8 Conference setback at Keuka.
Junior guard Noah Girard (Glens Falls, NY/Glens Falls) topped RSC with 17 points.
Junior forward Todd Williamson (Schenectady, NY/Notre Dame Bishop Gibbons) added 11 points on 4-of-7 shooting and eight rebounds, while senior forward Tahirou Hamidou (Bronx, NY/Carolina Basketball Academy/Livingstone) tallied a double-double of 10 points and 10 boards.
Senior guard Christian Sage led Keuka (5-5/3-0 E8), which never trailed, with 25 points on 9-of-12 shooting. Guard Devin Milton, a grad student, tossed in 24 points and nine rebounds for the victors.
Down 14-5 early, the Gators climbed back into the E8 matinee with a 15-7 first half run to head into the break trailing 34-27.
RSC utilized a 9-3 second half run to get within three with 17:02 to go. The Wolves answered with the next six points, part of a 13-4 run to regain control.
From there, Keuka was able to keep a double-digit advantage on RSC for the final 12:11.
RSC (6-6/0-4 E8) hosts Elmira on Friday at 7:30 pm.
