ALBANY, N.Y. – The National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) announced Russell Sage College midfielder Amy Stevens (Castle Creek, NY/Whitney Point), a grad student, as a first-team All-Region honoree.
She established single-season program records of 49 points and 20 goals en route to being voted the Empire 8 Conference Offensive Player of the Year. Her averages of 3.06 points and 1.25 goals both ranked sixth in the country and led the E8.
Stevens, who established the program's single-game record for goals with four, ranks third on the RSC career scoring list with 49 points.
She helped the Gators (6-10) qualify for the E8 Championship Tournament for the first time.
