RSC Overcomes Heavy Downpours to Shutout Keuka

ALBANY, N.Y. – Through heavy rains, Russell Sage College shutout visiting Keuka 4-0 on Saturday afternoon.

Forward Alyssa Fitzgerald (Queensbury, NY/Queensbury), a grad student, led the way with two goals.

Midfielder Amy Stevens (Castle Creek, NY/Whitney Point), a grad student, added a goal and an assist, while sophomore goalkeeper Jaia Caron (Bellows Falls, VT/Bellows Falls Union) (Win, 4-6) turned aside all four Keuka (3-8/2-3 E8) shots on cage.

The Gators (4-6/1-3 E8) continue E8 play on Wednesday afternoon at Utica.


Notes: Forward Sara O'Connor (Rexford, NY/Niskayuna), a grad student, is the program record holder for career points with 77 on 32 goals and 13 assists...She holds program records for most points in a season with 42 in 2019…O'Connor scored four goals in the 12-0 win at Wells on September 28, the most by a Gator in a single game.…Between her, forward Alyssa Fitzgerald (Queensbury, NY/Queensbury), a grad student, and midfielder Amy Stevens (Castle Creek, NY/Whitney Point), a grad student, the trio are three of the program's top-five career scoring leaders.
