TROY, N.Y. – Russell Sage College was upended 4-1 this morning at RPI.
Trailing 3-0 at the half, forward Sara O’Connor (Rexford, NY/Niskayuna), a grad student, got the Gators on the board in the third quarter with an unassisted goal.
Sophomore goalkeeper Jaia Caron (Bellows Falls, VT/Bellows Falls Union) (Loss, 1-3) made 14 saves in defeat.
Junior attacker Nina Caprio and junior midfielder Abby Peterson registered a goal and an assist apiece to help RPI (1-5) win its first contest of the fall.
The Gators (1-3) play next on Wednesday at 6:00 PM at Saint Joseph's (Conn.).
