ALBANY, N.Y. – Russell Sage College picked up its first victory of the fall by defeating visiting Dean 6-0 tonight at UAlbany.
Four Gators registered multiple points in the shutout win.
Midfielder Amy Stevens (Castle Creek, NY/Whitney Point), a grad student, led the way with three goals and an assist.
Forward Sara O’Connor (Rexford, NY/Niskayuna), a grad student, added two goals, while forward Alyssa Fitzgerald (Queensbury, NY/Queensbury), also a grad student, recorded a goal and an assist.
The Gators (1-2), which outshot the Bulldogs (0-6) by a 37-2 margin, are back in action on Saturday morning at RPI.
