RSC's esports gaming room plans!

Troy, NY---Excitement is building over the designs and construction of the esports room for one of our new programs, Gator eSports!

Plans for construction and design of the new facility which will be housed in Kellas Hall in Troy are coming together as esports will launch and commence play under the guidance of rookie head coach Matt Fisher in 2021-2022!

The design for the room includes:

-Expecting around 20 units (tentatively) and stations
-Compact PC - Core i7 10700KF - 32 GB - SSD 1
-LED monitor - Full HD (1080p) - 23.8"
-Headset
-Keyboard
-Gaming Mouse
-Mouse pad

Other things the arena will feature
-RGB lighting to make everything glow green
-Smartboard for VOD Reviews/strategy discussion
-Gaming chairs
-Lounge area for watch parties (to watch both pro games and our Gator team members compete!)
-Plans are to allow students to use this area to play console games as well
-Lockers for players to store their gear
-Sage branding on the walls (fatheads, wall clings, etc.)
-PC for streaming/editing
-Players will have team practice, compete, have team meetings, hang out, and be able to practice on their own in the arena

Other notes
-Great area for the team to bond and cheer on their other Gator eSport teams
-Having enough PCs for full 6 v 6 Overwatch in-house scrimmages, while still having extras for players to practice on their own is great
-We have plans to also host High School events down the line
-Should be read by the end of Spring 2021
