UPDATE ON RUSSELL SAGE COLLEGE ATHLETIC FAN POLICY
Albany, NY — Due to recent changes in State of New York regulations regarding fans at college athletic events, Russell Sage College has announced changes to the fan policy for home athletic events. The new policy will go into effect on April 2, 2021.
In accordance with the Empire 8 fan policy, Sage will allow current Russell Sage College students and up to two parents/relatives of Russell Sage College student-athletes playing in the home event only. ID will be required for admittance. No other fans are permitted to enter a venue at this time.
- The new regulations will allow for 100 RSC fans for home indoor events (men's basketball and women's volleyball), while 200 RSC spectators will be permitted at outdoor home contests.
- All fans must be masked and maintain social distancing the entire time.
- Attendance will be on a first-come first-served basis up to the capacity limit for the venue.
- Fans can begin entering the venue 20 minutes prior to the start of the event.
- All fans must sign in and answer a health screening questionnaire. Temperature checks will be conducted at the point of entry.
Russell Sage fans may attend home contests only. Fans at away contests will be limited to the home team only.
As we reflect on the past year and look forward to the coming weeks of athletic competition, we are always excited by the presence of our Gator athletic fans. We look forward to the day when we can all be present in the stands and cheering on our athletic teams.
