Albany, NY — Russell Sage College's Student Athlete Advisory Committee (S.A.A.C.) has selected their officers for the 2020-2021 academic year. Matt Esposito, Sage's SAAC Advisor and head men's soccer coach, announced the results of the group's elections on Friday.
Named as the co-presidents this year are junior men's basketball player Tyler Mitchell (Bronx, NY/All Hallows) and junior women's basketball player, Lily Batule (Slate Hill, NY/Minisink Valley).
Senior men's golf team captain Blake Pritchard (Malone, NY/Franklin Academy) has been named treasurer, while junior women's volleyball player Francesca Gigliotti (Dalton, MA/Wahconah Regional) will serve as the organization's secretary.
Junior women's soccer player Mickaela Buzzy (Oneonta, NY/Oneonta) and senior men's soccer performer, Jeaneste Pierre (Newburgh, NY/Newburgh Free Academy) have been named the group's social media managers.
The next meeting for the Sage's S.A.A.C. is slated for September 20 at 7 p.m.
