Taylor Dorado (Guilderland, NY/Guilderland) enters her third season as an assistant on the women’s soccer coaching staff.

Dorado, a 2020 graduate of Siena College, came to Sage with an extensive resume having excelled on the pitch for the Saints. She graduated after earning four varsity letters and establishing career marks for most minutes played in goal (6,678:07), while also setting the mark for most career shutouts with 21.

A 19-game starter as a senior in 2019, she also wrapped her collegiate career having posted a 1.17 career goals against average, while finishing third all-time with her 365 career saves.

No stranger to coaching either, Dorado has spent time working as an assistant coach with the Latham Circle Soccer Club with the U16 team, while also working as a goalkeeping coach for the Latham Circle Soccer Club. She has also worked as an assistant goalkeeping coach with the East Greenbush Soccer Club.

As a junior at Siena, she was honored at the MAAC Goalkeeper of the Year and also earned First Team All-MAAC selection. She was also rewarded for her outstanding season with a spot on the 2018 United Soccer Coaches Scholar All-East Region First Team and MAAC All-Academic Team and was an Academic Honor Roll honoree. She tied her own program single-season record with four MAAC Defensive Player of the Week awards and also set the Siena single-season record with nine shutouts. In 2018, she ranked second in the MAAC and 29th nationally in shutouts. She also led the MAAC and ranked 13th nationally with 108 saves on the season.

As a sophomore, she was named to the All-MAAC Second Team and the MAAC All-Tournament Team in 2017, while also excelling in the classroom having also earned a spot on the MAAC Academic Honor Roll list.

Before arriving at Siena, Dorado excelled at nearby Guilderland High School, where she was chosen as the 2015 Section II Class AA Goalkeeper of the Year, as well as a Third Team All-State and Suburban Council pick. She was also honored as a Times Union First Team All-Star. She also played club soccer for both New York Extreme Futbol and the Alleycats as well as spending six years as a member of the ODP programs at both the state and Region 1 levels, advancing to the ODP National Championships in 2015, where she guided her squad to an appearance in the Final Four.
