As a newcomer with the 2014 Sage team, Jess Adams started 37 games at second base and had a .320 average at the plate. She drove in 19 runs and had 10 extra-base hits including seven doubles. She had 40 hits with a .440 slugging percentage and was 10-12 on stolen bases as a rookie. Her 40 hits ranks 17^th in single-season performances at Sage, while her 125 at-bats stands No. 12 in the single-season Gator record book. She also had a .946 fielding percentage at second base.

Named a 2015 Skyline Conference All-Star Second Team pick at short stop, Adams batted .295 in 35 starts and scored 21 runs with eight doubles and 20 RBI’s. She had a .920 fielding percentage and helped the team with her .429 slugging percentage.

A 72-game starter at Sage, she owns a .309 career batting average with 71 hits to her credit, including 14 doubles and four home runs. She has 12 career stolen bases and opens the 2016 season ranked 12^th in career stolen bases at Sage.

She is majoring in psychology with a minor in sociology at Sage and is the daughter of John and Angela Adams. She has worked as an umpire for the East Greenbush Girls’ Softball League. A Dean’s List student, she was named to the Skyline Conference Scholar-Athlete Team.

A graduate of Columbia High School, Jessica Adams earned First Team Suburban Council honors in high school. She helped her team to the semifinals of the sections and was an Honors and High Honors student throughout her scholastic career.
