Holden Maynard

At Sage:

• Holden Maynard arrives at Sage after a successful stint at Hudson Valley Community College.
• As a member of the cross country and track and field programs at HVCC, Maynard excelled and made an immediate impact on both the Sage cross country this past fall.
• In the fall of 2019, Maynard was Sage’s top runner at every race he ran in as a Gator. Among his top showings was a 14^th place finish at the Stephen Warde Invitational hosted by SUNY-Cobleskill (29:14.69), while taking 21^st in the Empire 8 Championship in 28:28.1, his fastest time of the year for an 8K distance.
• His best short course time was at the Vassar Short Course race as he was 20^th in 14:16.4 on the 4K course.
• He was honored with a selection to the Empire 8 Men’s Cross Country Sportsmanship Team.

Academics at Sage:

• He is majoring in health sciences at Sage.
• While at HVCC, he earned acclaim from the Phi Theta Kappa honor society.

High School:

• A graduate of Mohonasen High School, Maynard served as a team captain for both the cross country and track and field teams as a senior.

Personal:

He is the son of Steven and Leah Maynard.
