Dr. Dan Freigang

Dr. Dan Freigang joins Sage’s men’s soccer staff this season and brings with him an extensive background. He worked with head coach Pasic, during his time as a student-athlete at Central Arkansas.

He is a well published author with over 100 scientific articles on periodization of mental training, self-confidence and game preparation. His seminal research integrating technical training with psychological elements have become a standard for many professional teams. He is also a prolific clinician and his contributions to player development are seen in the USSF, USYSA, NCAA and numerous National Teams. As a sport scientist working with the U.S.S.F. in Sport Psychology, he travels the country doing clinics and workshops with clubs and individuals.

He was an internationally ranked athlete and national team coach. He presents his skills as a unique blend of scientist and coach. He also has a private practice where he works as a sport scientist working with youth, teens, adults, individuals and groups in Sport Psychology.
