Title: Graduate Assistant

Connor DeSantis joined the men's soccer staff as a graduate assistant in 2021 and returns for his second season with the Gators in 2022.

DeSantis began his collegiate career in 2015 at SUNY Potsdam, where he played two seasons with the Bears and recorded three goals and two assists. After transferring to Brockport State, he wrapped his collegiate career playing two years for the Golden Eagles. During his senior season in 2018, Brockport State upset the No.6 nationally ranked Cortland State Red Dragons, 2-0 in the SUNYAC Championship Game. With their championship victory, Brockport State earned the program's first SUNYAC Championship since 2009 and punched their ticket to the 2018 NCAA Division III Championship. In the NCAA Tournament, they defeated the Liberty League Champions, St. Lawrence 2-1.  Over the course of the campaign, Brockport State finished 16-5-2 and tied the mark for the most wins in the program's history.  During his time at Brockport State, DeSantis tallied three goals with four assists playing primarily as a central defensive midfielder.

 

DeSantis received his bachelor of science degree in sociology from SUNY Brockport in 2019 and is currently pursuing his master's degree in School Counseling at Russell Sage. He is on pace to complete his degree in spring 2023.
DeSantis holds a Personal Training & Fitness Certification from The National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).


Additionally, DeSantis has climbed and summited all 46 High Peaks of the Adirondack Mountains and is a registered Adirondack 46er.
