Title: Athletic Communications Graduate Assistant

After wrapping her career as a member of Russell Sage College’s women’s lacrosse team in the spring of 2022, Caitlyn Lopeck (Valley Stream, NY/Valley Stream South) is continuing her time as a Gator, now serving as the graduate assistant in athletic communications.

She earned her bachelor of science degree from RSC in December of 2021, and is currently enrolled in the doctor of therapy program at RSC with an anticipated graduation in May of 2024. She played soccer for the Gators as a freshman and sophomore, while also starring for the women’s lacrosse team at RSC.

Most recently, she played in 14 matches as a senior on the lacrosse team in 2022 with one start, tallying two goals with 11 groundballs and nine caused turnover. On the soccer pitch, she played in 27 matches with one assist.

A Dean’s List student, she also excelled earning Magna Cum Laude honors during her time at RSC. Active on campus, she previously served as the graduate assistant in RSC’s Admissions’ Office, while also working as a student ambassador as an undergraduate. She has also volunteered her time with Unity House, Sage Engaged, the Ronald McDonald House, and the American Red Cross, in addition to numerous activities with Sage’s SAAC.

She has also participated in clinical experiences at the Massry Center in Troy, New York as well as Peak Performance (Lynbrook, NY). She holds membership in the American Physical Therapy Association as well as Phi Kappa Phi and the College Sports Information Directors Association.
