Ingellis Wins 6k at SUNY Cobleskill

COBLESKILL, N.Y. –  Russell Sage College continued its fall by competing at the Steven A. Warde Invitational, hosted by SUNY Cobleskill, on Saturday morning.

Sophomore Elizabeth Ingellis (Kingston, NY/Kingston) won her race for the second-straight week. Today, she was the champion on the 6k course with a time of 24:54.36.

Junior Mackenzie Feeney (Saugerties, NY/Saugerties) finished in fourth place as she posted a time of 27:17.52, while junior Hethar Scutt (Ancramdale, NY/Taconic Hills) posted a time of 45:59.42 and finished in 48th place.

In the men’s 8k race, freshman Robert Cusato (Schenectady, NY/Guilderland) led the way with a 32:16.67 and took home 27th place. Senior Joe Degiorgio (Troy, NY/Troy) was right behind him in 28th place in 32:21.16. Freshman Christopher Pellegrini (Loudonville, NY/) posted a time of 34:52.33 and took home 42nd place and sophomore Isaac Langer (Hudson, NY/Taconic Hills) took home 52nd place in 36:44.75.

Looking ahead, the Gators run next on Saturday, September 24 at the Oneonta State Invitational.
