New York, NY–The Sage Colleges' women's cross country team member, sophomore  Shannon Farrell (Indian Lake, NY/Indian Lake Central) was named this week's Skyline Conference Female Runner of the Week.

Competing at the 2016 SUNY-Cobleskill Steven Warde Invitational, she led the Gators to a strong fifth place team finish, while finishing as the Gator's lead runner for the second week in a row. She took home a fifth place finish in 20:07.71 in a competitive 85 runner field.

The Gators are back in action on September 17 when they compete at the Raptor Invitational at Bard College (Annandale-on-Hudson, NY).
