 A two-sport athlete at North Warren High School, Amanda Millington arrived at Sage with a number of awards to her credit. Selected as the Most Outstanding Offensive Player in field hockey, she also excelled in softball.

She helped guide her team to the Adirondack League Co-Championship and was named to the National Honor Society. She was also named the Most Outstanding Female Student in high school.

Since arriving at Sage, Millington has been a key runner for the Gators and finished in 15th place at the 2012 Skyline Conference Championships. The Gators took home third place at the meet after also capturing the team championship. Last season, she was the second Gator to cross the finish line at the 2013 Skyline Conference Championship as she picked up 20th place in 22:23.42. A 2013 Skyline Conference Scholar-Athlete and a Sage Scholar-Athlete honoree, she is majoring in nutrition science at Sage and is also a Deans’ List student at Sage. She was also named to the 2013 Skyline Conference All-Sportsmanship Team.

She is the daughter of William and Donna Millington and is also active on campus with the Nutrition Club and the Dance Ensemble Team.
