Megan Lugo arrived at Sage in 2012 after excelling at Clarkstown South High School, where she earned nine varsity letters in cross country, track and field, and volleyball.

A second team all-county pick in race walking in indoor track, she was also named the team's MVP and captain for the winter season.

As a Sage newcomer last season, she took 44^th place at the 2013 Skyline Conference Championship with her time of 24:09.24.

She is majoring in biology at Sage and is the daughter of Richard and Michelle Baum. She was named the recipient of the Character Award for her leadership in 2014 and plans on pursuing a career as a physical therapist.
