MORRISVILLE, N.Y. –  Russell Sage College began its weekend stay at the SUNY Morrisville Tournament by falling to the hosts by a score of 3-0 (25-19, 25-22, 25-17).

Senior middle hitter Celia Gagnon (Troy, NY/Ichabod Crane) led the Gators (1-1) with eight kills on .357 hitting. Junior defensive specialist Elaina Moisidis (Albany, NY/Albany) elevated 13 Mustang attacks, while sophomore right side Statia Walker (Schodack, NY/Maple Hill) dished out nine assists.

SUNY Morrisville (3-0), perfect on the young season, received a double-double of 11 kills and 12 digs from freshman outside hitter Kayci Olson. 

The Tournament concludes tomorrow with the two squads facing Hood College and Oswego State at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm.
