Broncos top Sage, 3-1 on Tuesday

Delhi, NY—The Sage Colleges' women's volleyball team travelled to SUNY-Delhi for a non-conference match with the Broncos. SUNY-Delhi collected a 3-1 win over Sage to stay perfect at 4-0, while the Gators drop to 0-9 after falling, 25-18, 25-22, 22-25, 25-16.

Sage's senior outside hitter Megan Ryder (Broadalbin, NY/Broadalbin Perth) added 9.5 points as she racked up seven kills with 27 digs. She added two aces and a block assist for the Gators.

Sophomore outside hitter Emma Parkington (Dalton, MA/Wahconah Regional) added 11 digs with five kills, a pair of block assists with and two aces. Senior middle hitter Skylar Van Alstyne (Castleton, NY/Maple Hill) added five digs with a pair of digs and a block assist, while rookie defensive specialist Elaina Moisidis (Albany, NY/Albany) had 13 digs. Sophomore setter Francesca Gigliotti (Dalton, MA/Wahconah Regional) picked up 15 setting assists with 12 digs in the action. Junior right side Renee Martin (Troy, NY/Troy) picked up five kills with a dig and a block assist on the night.

Sage is back in action on Thursday night travelling to face Western New England University in a 7 p.m. non-conference match.
