NEW YORK – Senior Sara Campolieta (Fulton, NY/G. Ray Bodley) was named to the Skyline Women's Volleyball Weekly Honor Roll Monday afternoon.
Campolieta, a Sage Fall Classic All-Tournament Team honoree, recorded a season high 18 kills against SUNY-Polytechnic in Sage's (4-9) 3-2 win. During Sage's 2-3 week, the senior averaged 3.57 kills, 2.95 digs, .24 blocking and .24 aces. Campolieta had a reception rate of .787 and a service average of .818 on Sage's 2-3 week.
Campolieta currently ranks second in the Skyline in total kills (106) and digs (148). The outside hitter is leading Sage in kills/set (2.46), total kills (123), points/set (2.8) and total points (137.5). Other statistical leaders for the Gators include Alyssa Nellis (Johnstown, NY/Johnstown) (.44 blocks/set, 22 total blocks, .692 service percentage), Katy Rimawi (Ballston Spa, NY/Ballston Spa) (.35 aces/set, 17 total aces, .887 reception percentage), Rachel Liebig (Hartford, NY/Hartford) (7.32 assists/set, 366 total assists) and Missy Schneiderman (Middletown, NY/Minisink Valley) (3.94 digs/set, 193 total digs).
Sage hosts SUNY-Cobleskill in their next match on Thurs. Sept., 22 at 7 p.m. in Kahl Gymnasium.
