A transfer from Purchase College last year, Maggie Brenenstuhl contributed to the Gators’ success last fall and is looking to build upon her efforts from 2013. She played in five matches and gained valuable experience as well.

A former team captain as a junior and senior at Hoosic Valley High School, she helped her team to a second place finish in the Wasaren League as well as a third round showing in the Class C sectionals. Academically she excelled having earned the Hoosic Valley CSD Presidential Scholar Award after earning High Honors all four years.

She has been a Dean’s List student every semester and is majoring in environmental science at Sage as part of the PACE program. She was awarded the Spector Grant for International Travel and is the president of the Pre-Law Club at Sage.

She was named to the 2013-2014 Sage Scholar-Athlete Team for her accomplishments in the classroom and also garnered a spot on the 2013 Skyline Conference Scholar-Athlete Team.

 She is the daughter of Eric and Janice Brenenstuhl. Recently she worked as an intern in the office of Albany County District Attorneys’ Office and as an intern in the office of Steve McLaughlin of the NY State Assembly.  Over this past summer, she travelled to Thailand, where she spent the summer riding elephants.
