Troy, NY-- Sage's rookie middle hitter, Helen Putriment (Troy, NY/Cobleskill-Richmondville) was named the Skyline Conference Women's Volleyball Rookie of the Week on Monday. The honor was the second for the Gator newcomer.
For the week, Putriment added 45 kills with 58 digs and closed the week with back-to-back double-doubles in Saturday's pair of dual matches. On the season, she leads Sage with her 213 kills and 240.5 points. She is second on the team with 280 digs and had racked up 21 aces with 12 block assists.
